Intermediate Mechanical Project Engineer / Electrical Project Engineer

Client: Over the last 15 years, my client has greatly contributed to the successful completion of some of the most prestigious building projects in London and the South East. Since their formation, the business has grown considerably to circa £100m turnover and have been successful in securing and delivering a number of high-profile schemes, including Goldman Sachs head office, the new Google development at Kings Cross, 150 Bishopsgate and Bloomberg’s HQ. Using their innovative pipework fabrication solutions and in-house modularisation and fabrication facilities, they have ensured some of the largest mechanical engineering projects are provided on budge and ahead of schedule.

Intermediate Mechanical Project Engineer / Intermediate Electrical Project Engineer – £60,000 - £80,000 + Package

Roles and Responsibilities:

·      Read, understand and scrutinise Specifications, Programmes & Drawing

·      Assisting with Procurement of Plant and subcontractors

·      Liaising with Project Managers and Project Directors

·      Competent using Microsoft Office software

·      Prepare contract documents I.e. method statements, risk assessments, RFI’s, etc.

·      Assisting with coordination and management of mechanical subcontractors

·      Read, understand and scrutinise Sub-Contract instructions

·      Assist with commissioning and testing

The ideal candidate:

·      Have at least gained a Mechanical/Electrical qualification or experience working on the tools

·      Strong communication skills

·      Be within commuting distance of central London

·      A willingness to develop their career and to strive towards promotion
