Internal Cleaner
Location: Based at our Oldham office with regular travel to properties across Oldham and the surrounding areas
Salary: £25,000 per annum, with the opportunity for a salary increase following successful completion of probation.
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Nurture Housing Association Limited provides safe, affordable and high-quality homes across the North of England. We are committed to maintaining clean, safe and welcoming environments for our tenants and are looking for a reliable and hardworking Internal Cleaner to join our team.
The Role
Based at our office in Oldham, you will be responsible for travelling to our residential properties across Oldham and the surrounding areas to carry out cleaning duties. You will ensure our communal areas, shared accommodation and void properties are maintained to a high standard, helping us provide safe, clean and welcoming homes for our tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean communal areas, including hallways, stairwells, entrances and shared facilities.
- Carry out deep cleans of void properties before new tenants move in.
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms and communal living spaces where required.
- Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise all designated areas.
- Remove waste and maintain clean, hygienic environments.
- Report maintenance issues, damage and health and safety concerns identified during visits.
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed to a consistently high standard.
- Follow all Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
- Represent Nurture Housing Association professionally when working in occupied properties.
- Travel between multiple properties as required throughout the working week.
Essential Requirements
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable, trustworthy and self-motivated.
- Able to work independently and use initiative.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Flexible and willing to travel between properties.
