We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Internal Sales Agent to join our successful team at our Charlton depot and play a key role in supporting our continued growth.

About the Role

As an Internal Sales Agent, you will be at the heart of our sales operation, working closely with customers and colleagues to maximise sales opportunities, build strong relationships, and deliver exceptional service.

This is a varied role that combines sales, customer service, and administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a busy and rewarding working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Raising and processing quotations for customers
• Following up quotations and converting enquiries into orders
• Answering incoming customer calls and emails
• Conducting proactive sales and campaign calls
• Coordinating internal and external sales activities
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Managing off-hire enquiries and customer communications
• Providing general sales administration support
• Supporting local marketing and business development activities
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous sales experience
• Experience working within the hire industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Confident and professional telephone manner
• Good IT and administrative skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
