Internal Sales Consultant

Location: Kirkstall Road, Leeds
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum + bonus (£50k OTE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (office based)
Flexible working: Part-time or flexible hours will be considered for the right candidate.

Property Experience Essential

We're looking for someone who has a background in property, property development, interior or exterior home improvements, or the construction industry. This could include experience within estate agency, property development, interior design, interior fit-out, loft conversions, home extensions, conservatories, housebuilding or similar sectors.

You'll have an understanding of how residential projects are delivered and be confident managing customers through a project-based sales cycle from initial enquiry through to completion.

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded Internal Sales Consultant to join our growing team based on Kirkstall Road, Leeds.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist home improvement business delivering high-quality interior design, loft conversions, home extensions, conservatories and other residential improvement projects.

You'll be the first point of contact for homeowners looking to transform their homes, managing enquiries from start to finish while providing an exceptional customer experience.

The Role

Working closely with homeowners, subcontractors and installers, you'll coordinate projects, prepare quotations, keep customers informed and ensure every project progresses smoothly from enquiry through to installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound sales enquiries from homeowners.
  • Guide customers through the full sales process from enquiry to project completion.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Liaise with surveyors, installers, subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate projects.
  • Prepare quotations and follow up on outstanding opportunities.
  • Keep customers updated throughout each stage of their project.
  • Maintain accurate records using the company's CRM system.
  • Work towards individual and team sales targets.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional home improvement services where appropriate.

About You

You'll ideally have experience in one or more of the following:

  • Estate agency
  • Property development
  • Interior design
  • Interior fit-out
  • Loft conversions
  • Home extensions
  • Conservatories
  • Construction or home improvement sales

You'll also have:

  • Previous sales or customer account management experience.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and positive approach to customer service.
  • The ability to manage a project-based sales cycle from enquiry through to completion.
