£35,000 - £45,000 + Discretionary Bonus + Enhanced Pension + Hybrid Working + Enhanced Holiday + Christmas Shutdown + Progression

Are you a technically minded engineer with experience in motors, gearboxes, geared motors or industrial engineering, looking to develop your career into technical sales and eventually Business Development?

You'll gain strong product and industry knowledge while working closely with customers and experienced sales professionals. For the right person, there is a clear route from Internal Sales Engineer into External Sales and ultimately Business Development Manager, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term commercial career.

The Role

• Handle technical and commercial customer enquiries
• Understand applications and recommend suitable motor/gearbox solutions
• Prepare quotations and support the sales process
• Provide technical support across motors, gearboxes and geared motors
• Work closely with customers, external sales and product specialists
• Build product knowledge with a view to progressing into external sales/BDM

The Person

• Technical background within motors, gearboxes, mechanical/electrical or industrial engineering
• Good technical understanding of industrial products
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• Commercially minded with an interest in developing a sales career
• Organised, proactive and keen to progress into external sales/BDM
