Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Executive to join their friendly and supportive team at their Shipley office. The Role
As an Internal Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders and proactively developing existing and new business opportunities.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
This is a varied role that combines account management, customer service and sales, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and identifying opportunities to grow business.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email.
Prepare accurate quotations and process customer orders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Follow up quotations to maximise conversion rates.
Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.
Proactively contact dormant and prospective customers to generate new business.
Provide product advice and support customers with product enquiries.
Maintain accurate customer records using the company CRM system.
Liaise with the warehouse, purchasing and logistics teams to ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently.
Resolve customer queries and provide excellent after-sales support.
Produce reports and assist the wider sales team with administrative duties.
Deliver a consistently high level of customer service, ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression.
Skills:
Previous experience within an Internal Sales, Sales Executive or Customer Service role.
A warm, engaging and personable approach with the ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
Naturally confident communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly.
A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
A proactive attitude with the confidence to identify sales opportunities.
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience within engineering, manufacturing, industrial or technical products would be advantageous, but is not essential.
