An excellent opportunity has arisen for an organised and customer-focused Internal Sales & Production Coordinator to join a successful manufacturing business.

This is a varied desk-based position and as a sales and production coordinator you'll act as the key link between customers, sales, purchasing and production, ensuring orders progress smoothly from quotation through to delivery.

As a project coordinator taking project first hand from saes / and customers you will be responsible for coordinating customer requirements, processing orders, planning production activities with the factory team and helping deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within manufacturing.

ONSITE 5 days (9-5)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer enquiries and provide exceptional internal sales support.
  • Account management / customer management
  • Prepare customer quotations and estimates.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Create and maintain production job record cards.
  • Coordinate the approval process for new artwork and product designs.
  • Allocate materials to production orders.
  • Raise purchase orders for production materials.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding material availability and delivery.
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure customer deadlines are achieved.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers and internal departments.
  • Maintain accurate records using the company's systems.
  • Resolve order queries and proactively update customers on order progress.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience within an office or manufacturing environment (preference), strong organisational skills
  • Experience sales order / after sales
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment is advantageous
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems is beneficial since systems are being upgraded
  • A team player happy with a small team environment and open plan office with a positive and flexible approach.
  • Desirable Experience – Any of Internal Sales; Sales Administration; Customer Service; Production Planning Production Control; Manufacturing Administration; Order Processing; Purchasing Administration; Packaging Manufacturing
