Looking for a new challenge beyond the ward?
If you're an experienced Registered Nurse ready to step away from bedside nursing without leaving your clinical expertise behind, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

Dynamite Recruitment is partnering with a specialist international healthcare organisation to recruit an International Medical Assistance Nurse. This role is ideal for nurses currently working at, or ready to step into, a position equivalent to an experienced NHS Band 6.

This is a chance to use your clinical expertise in a completely different way. Rather than providing bedside care, you'll coordinate treatment for patients across the globe, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of experienced Doctors and Nurses to ensure patients receive the right care, at the right time, wherever they are in the world.

Every day brings new challenges. From arranging emergency medical evacuations and international repatriations to supporting families through difficult situations, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding patient care on a global scale.

You'll continue making life-changing clinical decisions while enjoying greater variety, structured career development and a healthier work-life balance.

Why make the move?
This role offers the opportunity to:
  • Use your clinical expertise in a completely different way.
  • Move away from physically demanding ward-based nursing.
  • Work office-based with hybrid working available after training.
  • Enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same.
  • Coordinate patient care on a global scale.
  • Work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team of Doctors and Nurses.
  • Continue developing your clinical skills outside of a traditional hospital environment.
  • Build a long-term career within an established international healthcare organisation.
The Role
As part of a highly experienced clinical team, you will:
  • Assess overseas medical treatment and healthcare facilities.
  • Review clinical information and provide evidence-based recommendations.
  • Coordinate international medical repatriations and emergency evacuations.
  • Liaise with hospitals, treating clinicians, insurers, patients and their families worldwide.
  • Arrange onward care, hospital admissions and treatment plans.
  • Support non-clinical case managers with medical guidance and cover decisions.
  • Produce accurate clinical reports and maintain detailed case records.
  • Manage multiple complex cases while ensuring excellent patient outcomes.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys critical thinking, problem-solving and working in a fast-paced environment.

You'll have:
  • Current UK NMC registration.
  • A minimum of 5 years' post-registration experience.
  • Recent experience within an acute clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical judgement and decision-making ability.
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail.
  • The ability to remain calm and resilient under pressure.
  • Good IT skills and confidence using multiple systems.
  • UK nationality or the right to work in the UK (with at least 18 months remaining on your visa).
Experience from any of the following backgrounds would be highly desirable:
  • Intensive Care (ICU)
  • Emergency Department (ED)
  • Acute Medicine
  • Respiratory
  • General Medical Wards
  • Oncology
  • Orthopaedics
  • Cruise Ship Nursing
  • Military Nursing
  • Other acute hospital environments
Additional language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.

Training & Development
You'll receive:
  • Comprehensive 3-month office-based training programme.
  • Ongoing mentoring and clinical support.
  • Structured onboarding and professional development.
  • Hybrid working once fully trained and competent in the role.

If you're an experienced NHS Band 6 Nurse (or an accomplished Band 5 ready for your next challenge) and you're looking for a rewarding career that combines clinical expertise, international healthcare and a better work-life balance, we'd love to hear from you.
