Job Overview

We are a supporting a leading importer and commercial distributor of high-quality products with theirrecruitment ofa detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to optimise the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

 Seasonal Demand Forecasting: Analyse historical sales data to predict sharp seasonal shifts in trends.

• Stock Optimisation: Maintain optimal inventory thresholds for diverse product lines.
• Supplier Communication: Collaborate with the Operation Manager to adjust purchase order frequencies based on moving sales targets.
• Monitor shelf-life for organic goods and strategise clearance for outdated products.

• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Inventory turnover rate, forecast accuracy vs. actual seasonal sales and order fill rate and stockout frequency.

Candidate requirements:

• Experience in inventory control, ideally within import, wholesale, or consumer goods distribution.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Understanding of shipping lead times, customs clearance delays, and seasonal retail cycles is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset, organisational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field with be useful but not essential.
