Job Advert: Inventory Associate (Temporary for a minimum of 6 months)

Our client, a leading organisation in the distribution sector, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Inventory Associate to join their dynamic team.

About the Role:

As an Inventory Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the organisation's inventory processes. Your expertise will help maintain optimal stock levels, contribute to efficient warehouse operations, and support the overall success of the supply chain.

Hours Of Work: Monday to Friday 6am to 2.15pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory control processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Assist in the receiving, storing, and distributing of products within the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise inventory storage and organisation.
  • Utilise inventory management software to track stock levels and movements.
  • Support the implementation of best practises for inventory management and warehousing.

*English GCSE or equivalent experience/qualification.
*Mathematics GCSE or equivalent experience/qualification.
*IT literate.
*Able to work under pressure and support others within the team.
*Good attention to detail.
*Ability to work in ambient, cold-chain and -20°C environments as required.
*Desirable: experience working in a GxP environment and working with biological and/or pharmaceutical materials.
