We are recruiting an Inventory Planner to join a growing and highly successful organisation in Banbury. This hybrid opportunity offers excellent career development for a graduate or early-career professional with strong analytical skills and an interest in forecasting, inventory optimisation and supply chain performance.
The Inventory Planner will be responsible for forecasting demand, maintaining inventory plans, analysing stock performance and supporting client service objectives. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring the right stock is available at the right time while driving continuous improvement across planning processes.
Inventory Planner Responsibilities
•    Manage inventory planning and demand forecasting for client accounts.
•    Analyse inventory trends, stock availability and service level performance.
•    Develop client relationships and provide planning insight and recommendations.
•    Support inventory optimisation and stock reduction initiatives.
•    Investigate forecasting exceptions and inventory-related issues.
•    Produce reporting, analysis and performance data.
•    Support continuous improvement projects and business initiatives.
•    Assist with new client implementations and supply chain projects.
Inventory Planner Requirements
•    Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or another numerate discipline, or equivalent experience.
•    Experience within Inventory Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations.
•    Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
•    Excel proficiency and confidence working with business systems.
•    Experience using ERP, MRP or forecasting software.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
