Position: IPAF Operator / Driver
Salary: £42,000 Basic + OTE £50,000
Shifts: 10-hour shifts, 5 days per week
Occasional Saturdays as required
Overtime available

About your new company:
My client is looking for an experienced and reliable IPAF Operator / Driver to join their friendly and professional team.

This is a varied role involving driving truck-mounted access equipment to customer sites and safely operating the equipment once on site. You will work in accordance with health and safety regulations while providing a professional and reliable service to customers.

Full in-house training will be provided on the operation of the company's specific access equipment.

About your new IPAF Operator / Driver role:
  • Driving truck-mounted access equipment safely to and from customer sites.
  • Safely operating truck-mounted powered access equipment.
  • Carrying out pre-use and pre-operational equipment checks.
  • Setting up and operating access equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions and site requirements.
  • Following all relevant health and safety procedures and working-at-height regulations.
  • Working closely with customers and site teams to complete jobs safely and efficiently.
  • Reporting any equipment defects, damage or safety concerns.
  • Maintaining a professional and helpful approach when dealing with customers.
  • Keeping equipment and working areas clean and organised.
What you'll need to succeed for this IPAF Operator / Driver role:
  • Valid Category C driving licence.
  • Valid IPAF Operator licence.
  • Previous experience operating powered access equipment.
  • Good knowledge of working-at-height and general health and safety procedures.
  • Confidence driving and operating specialist access equipment.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
  • A reliable, safety-conscious and professional approach to work.
