A college in Angel, North London is looking for a passionate QTS Science Teacher to teach KS4 Science, with teachers specialising in Physics, Biology or Chemistry all encouraged to apply.
🔬 THE ROLE
- 3–4 days per week
- Teach KS4 Science to students working towards GCSE qualifications
- Physics, Biology or Chemistry specialism considered
- Plan and deliver engaging, accessible Science lessons
- Support students to develop their subject knowledge and confidence
- Use practical and applied approaches wherever appropriate
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Work alongside an experienced college team
- Help students progress towards further education, vocational study and future careers
This offers something different from a traditional secondary-school Science position.
You'll be working in a specialist science-focused college environment, alongside students studying subjects connected to areas such as Applied Science, Medical Science, Biomedical Science, Engineering and Forensic Science.
The setting includes specialist science laboratories and facilities, giving teachers the opportunity to connect classroom Science with real-world applications and students' future ambitions.
