IT Director

IT Director - Sporting Organisation - North London. £115k-£135k + excellent package + sports membership & tickets + hybrid role.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Director to join the senior leadership team at a major sporting organisation in North London.

The IT Director will join the organisation with a specific remit to work with the CEO and the Marketing Director on a number of digital, CRM and data strategies, whilst at the same time transforming the IT function within the organisation.

In addition to onboarding and managing an IT Team, the IT Director will also provide ‘white glove’ IT support services to Directors and sports professionals, with a strong emphasis on security and discretion.

The successful candidate for the IT Director role will be responsible for overseeing the transformation of membership, spearheading global digital initiatives, fan engagement strategies, and GDPR-compliant data strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the implementation of next-generation digital fan engagement strategies to drive up commercial revenue for the organisation.

- Help to transform the global membership model to generate potential revenue uplift, making the club more digitally accessible to fans and supporters.

- Launch and manage the ‘Digital Rewards' programme to drive matchday revenue and reduce churn, this will include introducing new membership systems and CRM.

- Provide IT ‘thought leadership’ to the organisation.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in managing significant IT budgets and delivering successful digital and IT transformation projects.

- Strong track record of driving revenue growth through innovative use of technology.

- Experience working with CRM, Data & Analytics, and Digital Marketing technologies.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to explain IT concepts to non-technical people, including the Board.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
