We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to take ownership of complex IT projects and deliver key business initiatives from planning through to successful implementation.
The Role
You will manage multiple projects across the full lifecycle, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and third-party suppliers. You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered to agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards while proactively managing risks, issues and dependencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT projects from initiation through to deployment.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, timelines and resource requirements.
- Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies and change.
- Lead cross-functional, matrix teams and third-party suppliers.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
- Monitor project progress and provide clear reports, updates and presentations.
- Ensure effective project governance, controls and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement of project management processes and practices.
About You
- 5+ years' experience in IT project management within a cross-functional environment.
- Proven experience delivering complex IT and software development lifecycle projects.
- Experience managing budgets, suppliers, risks and changing requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging C-level stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in Data/BI, telecoms or infrastructure projects is desirable.
