Fox Morris Group are delighted to be supporting West Sussex County Council in recruiting 6 Systems Support Analysts to join their busy IT Service Desk team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an IT support or Service Desk background who enjoys solving technical problems and delivering outstanding customer service.

About the Role

As a Systems Support Analyst, you'll be the first point of contact for IT incidents, service requests and user enquiries, providing first-line technical support to colleagues across the organisation.

You'll work within a collaborative Service Desk environment, resolving technical issues wherever possible while ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT incidents and service requests.
  • Deliver first-line technical support and first-contact resolution wherever possible.
  • Log, manage and resolve incidents using the IT Service Management (ITSM) platform.
  • Support user account administration and access management.
  • Maintain accurate records and knowledge base articles.
  • Escalate complex technical issues where required.
  • Provide professional, friendly and customer-focused support at all times.

About You

We're looking for candidates who have:

  • Experience working within an IT Service Desk or IT Support environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience using ITSM systems to manage incidents and service requests.
  • The ability to diagnose and resolve a broad range of first-line technical issues.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn within a fast-paced IT environment.
