IT support responsibilities

  1. Troubleshooting everyday issues with laptops, printers, peripherals, software and video conferencing.

  4. Preparing laptops and coordinating accounts, access and IT inductions for new starters, alongside equipment returns and account closures for leavers.
  5. Supporting hardware and software rollouts and maintaining accurate equipment records.
  6. Creating user guides, delivering practical training and promoting cyber security awareness.
  7. Identifying opportunities to improve processes and make better use of technology.

Facilities and operations responsibilities

  1. Coordinating day-to-day office services, meeting rooms and workstations to maintain an organised and welcoming environment.
  2. Liaising with building management and external suppliers to arrange maintenance, servicing and repairs, following up to ensure issues are resolved.
  3. Coordinating services such as cleaning, waste management and office equipment maintenance.
  4. Managing staff access fobs and supporting workplace inductions.
  5. Supporting health and safety by identifying hazards, reporting concerns and helping ensure appropriate action is taken.
  6. Completing workstation assessments for office and remote workers, maintaining records and coordinating any equipment or adjustments required.
  7. Joining the workplace first aid and fire marshal team, with training provided.

What we’re looking for

You’ll have previous experience providing IT support, practical troubleshooting skills and the confidence to help colleagues with varying levels of technical knowledge. You’ll also be comfortable taking responsibility for office services and coordinating suppliers.

You’ll bring:

  1. Confidence using Microsoft 365 and carrying out basic IT administration, such as printer setup and user account settings.
  2. A patient, approachable manner and the ability to explain technical information clearly.
  3. A proactive approach to resolving problems and seeing tasks through.
  4. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to balance competing priorities.
  5. The ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, IT providers, building management and contractors.
  6. A willingness to complete training in first aid, fire safety and workstation assessments within your first three months.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied, people-focused role, combining IT support with practical responsibility for the working environment.
