IT Support Team Leader

Up to £40,000 - Birmingham - Onsite

SF Technology is partnering with a distribution business looking to hire an IT Support Team Leader.

You'll provide hands on IT support, help complete the Microsoft Intune implementation and take on responsibility for coordinating and developing the support team. This could suit an experienced support engineer ready to step into their first leadership role.

What you'll be doing
Providing desktop support across Windows devices and Microsoft 365
Leading ongoing Intune implementation and device management
Supporting Azure services, patching, backups and IT security
Troubleshooting network issues and working with external suppliers
Supporting business users with ERP system queries
Improving documentation, mentoring colleagues and helping recruit a junior team member

What we're looking for
Strong hands on IT support experience
Practical experience implementing and supporting Microsoft 365 and Intune
Confidence configuring and troubleshooting Windows PCs and laptops
An understanding of networking, firewalls, switches and IT security
Clear communication and the ability to support colleagues across office and warehouse teams

ERP support experience, relevant Microsoft certifications or experience in a distribution environment would be beneficial. Previous management experience is not essential.
