IT Support Technician in Pedmore, Dudley

We are recruiting for an IT Support Technician to join an established Manufacturing business based in the Dudley area. The IT SupportTechnician will lead and complete IT and Technical projects across the business and will be responsible for the ERP system.

As the IT Support Technician will be required too :

* First point of contact for the internal ERP system supporting users and liaising with the provider

* Provide first line support for PCs, scanners and network connectivity

* Develop and maintain connectivity between machines, systems and company network

* Support the business in their move towards automation (including the programming of robots and implementation of automated systems)

* Install and maintain visual display screens on the shop floor

* Support the roll out of power BI across the business building dashboards and reports

* Evaluate customer feedback and implement any actions to address quality concerns

* Liaise with the external IT support (first line troubleshooting and managing of the external provider)

* Lead and complete IT and technical projects, updating stakeholders on progress

* Report concerns about equipment’s/devices condition

Requirements:

* A minimum 2 years IT support experience

* Able to understand written instructions and comply with company processes

* Able to maintain equipment and systems in a safe working environment

* Follow and adhere to manual handling and lifting guidance

* Experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage

* Excellent communication skills
