IT Technician in Harlow, Essex

Our client based in Harlow, is seeking to appoint a full-time IT Technician to provide support across the IT network.

Candidates must have good communication skills and be adept at working under pressure.

Job-Specific Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
• Knowledge of iOS operating systems.
• Knowledge of Office 365.
• PC/laptop hardware troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organisational and prioritising skills.
• A logical and tenacious approach to problem-solving.

Desirable Knowledge and Skills:

• Previous experience within a 1st/2nd line support role.
• A good understanding of networking principles.
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP and Active Directory.
• Printer maintenance and print servers.

Additional Information:

Previous IT experience is not essential. Applications will also be considered from candidates without IT experience, provided they have a keen interest in IT, are willing to work hard and are keen to learn on the job.

• Hours: 37 hours per week
• Working/Paid Weeks: 52.14 weeks per year
• Holiday Entitlement: 25 days annual leave
