Jewellery Polisher

Alliance Personnel are seeking a skilled Jewellery Polisher to join our dedicated craftsmanship team.

In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the appearance and quality of jewelry pieces through meticulous polishing and finishing processes. Your expertise will ensure each piece meets the highest standards of shine, smoothness, and overall aesthetic appeal.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and experience working with various tools and techniques to achieve flawless results.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools, power tools, and polishing machines to refine jewelry surfaces, removing imperfections and achieving desired finishes
• Operate grinding and buffing equipment to enhance the luster and smoothness of metal surfaces
• Apply appropriate polishing compounds and techniques based on material type and design specifications
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure jewelry meets aesthetic standards and specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
• Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to prepare jewelry for final presentation
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance
• Assist in the setup and calibration of polishing machinery using tooling and fixtures
• Support warehouse operations by managing inventory of polishing supplies, hand tools, and abrasives

Qualifications

• Proven experience in jewelry polishing or metal finishing within a manufacturing or workshop environment is a must 
• Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in fabrication processes such as welding and assembly
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, grinding equipment, and polishing machines
• Knowledge of tooling selection and proper use for different jewelry materials
• Warehouse experience is beneficial for managing supplies efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm + Friday 7am - 1pm
