TeacherActive is proud to be recruiting for a Job Coach within a Learning Support department in Northampton. The setting is committed to supporting young people with additional needs to access meaningful work placements, develop their independence and successfully transition into paid employment.

The setting is looking to appoint a Job Coach on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week for 36 working weeks per year, with some evening and weekend flexibility required. The successful Job Coach will support young people at college and in the workplace, including job matching, workplace risk assessments, systematic instruction, independent travel and working closely with employers to establish appropriate natural support.

The successful Job Coach will have:

• Experience supporting young people with additional needs
• Experience providing mentoring, coaching or employment-related support
• The ability to build positive relationships with young people and employers
• An understanding of workplace risk assessments and safe working practices
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends where required

In return for the above you can expect to receive:

• A permanent position within a Learning Support department
• A salary of £19,798 - £25,110 pro rata
• 37 hours per week across 36 working weeks per year
