Your new company
You will be joining a well-established organisation responsible for maintaining a large and varied estate in the York area. Due to ongoing maintenance requirements, they are looking to recruit an experienced joiner to support their existing estates and maintenance team.

Your new role
As a Joiner, you will carry out planned and reactive joinery works across a range of occupied buildings.Your duties will include:

• Carrying out general joinery repairs and maintenance
• Repairing and replacing doors, frames, locks and ironmongery
• Installing and repairing fixtures and fittings
• Completing first and second fix joinery
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
• Identifying faults and completing repairs efficiently
• Working across occupied buildings while maintaining a professional standard
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience working as a Joiner
• A recognised joinery qualification such as NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent
• Strong maintenance and repair experience
• Experience working within commercial, education, public-sector or similarly occupied environments
• Good first and second fix joinery skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team
• Full UK driving licence where required
