Job role and responsibilities

Experienced working under BM Trada and capable to carry out a BM Trada condition survey report to communal doors, riser doors, and FED’s.

Ease and adjust any doors to bring gaps to a complaint standard, Chaulk arcs and neat workmanship  – Any additional remedial works are than priced separately

Experienced using Bolster

Arrange appointments with the residents for FED’s inspections

Operative may have to assist with deliveries of new door sets from time to time

Open communication with the client and reception staff with any access issues

Must be polite and have very good communication skills

Be caring towards residents as some have dementia or health issues

NVQ Level 2 in carpentry

DBS check - Preferable

Fire door surveying certificate – Preferable
