Junior Buyer - Rotherham - £28,000 - £30,000
Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering exclusively with an established and growing construction company that is looking to recruit a Junior Buyer to join their team.

As a Junior Buyer, you will work as part of the Procurement team producing tenders for goods and services and actioning day-to-day ordering of materials for projects.

This role is ideal for an ambitious early-career procurement professional looking to fast-track their development through the CIPS qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce purchase orders based on information received in site requisitions
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure project programmes are met when necessary
• Check supplier invoices are correctly calculated in line with purchase orders and goods received paperwork
• Code purchase orders and invoices
• Manage tender/quotation processes
• Produce reports of project costs and supplier performance
• Introduce new suppliers and set up in line with company processes

Previous Experience:

• Previous exposure within purchasing and supply chain
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong systems skills
