Your responsibilities as Junior Estate Gardener
  • Maintain lawns, borders, hedges, trees and pathways to an exceptional standard
  • Carry out planting, pruning, weeding, mulching and seasonal garden maintenance
  • Assist with propagation, greenhouse activities and ongoing plant care
  • Support the implementation of new planting schemes and landscaping projects
  • Operate and maintain horticultural equipment safely and effectively
  • Help ensure the estate grounds remain attractive and well-presented throughout the year
What we’re looking for in a Junior Estate Gardener
  • Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, grounds maintenance or a similar environment
  • Knowledge of planting, pruning and seasonal garden care techniques
  • Experience using horticultural tools, machinery or greenhouse equipment
  • Understanding of garden, landscape or estate maintenance practices
  • Any horticultural qualifications or relevant training would be advantageous
Working Hours
37.5 hours per week with flexibility around working days and working patterns for the right candidate.
