- Previous experience in an administrative, office support, logistics, transport, shipping, or freight forwarding role
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous experience within road freight, freight forwarding, transport, or logistics administration
- Knowledge of transport management or freight systems
- Understanding of European road freight operations or customs procedures
- Experience working within a fast-paced operational or customer service environment
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths
- Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain qualifications
- Prepare and process EU road freight documentation accurately and efficiently
- Enter and maintain shipment information within internal transport systems
- Coordinate bookings with customers, transport providers, and internal departments
- Monitor the progress of European road freight shipments and provide updates where required
- Assist with arranging collections and deliveries throughout the UK and Europe
- Check freight documentation and invoices for accuracy
- Maintain organised records and filing systems
- Provide general administrative support to the operations team.
- Identify and resolve administrative discrepancies, escalating issues where appropriate
- Ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures and service standards
