We are recruiting a Junior Field Service Engineer to join a rapidly growing engineering organisation supporting some of the UK's most important rail infrastructure projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their electrical career who wants to progress into a specialist field-based engineering role.

Over the next 12 months, you'll receive comprehensive training designed to develop you into a skilled electrically-biased HVAC and Rail Engineer, giving you valuable niche skills that are highly sought after within the industry.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with installation and commissioning activities
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults
• Supporting planned and reactive maintenance works
• Interpreting and working from engineering drawings and schematics
• Travelling to customer sites across the UK
• Working closely with senior engineers to develop your technical expertise

The Ideal Candidate

You will bring experience, precision, and a strong electrical mindset. We are looking for someone with:

• Knowledge of 3 phase Electrical systems, DC Control Units and Basic understanding of PLC systems (Desirable)
• Confident in reading and following electrical engineering drawings
• Candidate must be a commutable distance from Calne.

Essential Criteria

• Proven electrical fault-finding experience
• Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Electrical engineering.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to pass a medical, drug & alcohol screening.
