You'll work alongside experienced engineers installing high-quality home lifts across the UK, with genuine opportunities to progress as your skills develop.
The Role
Working as part of a two-person installation team, you'll install complete home lift systems at residential properties across the UK.
Full training will be provided, allowing you to develop into a fully qualified Lift Installation Engineer.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing home lift systems from start to finish.
- Using hand and power tools to assemble and install equipment.
- Reading and working from technical drawings.
- Assisting with servicing, maintenance and breakdown work once trained.
- Providing a professional service to customers in their homes.
- Working away during the week when required.
We're interested in practical people with the right attitude rather than just direct lift industry experience.
You could come from backgrounds such as:
- Mechanical Fitter
- Vehicle Mechanic
- Installation Engineer
- Service Engineer
- Assembly Technician
- Maintenance Engineer
- Lift Engineer
- General Mechanical Engineering
- Confidence using hand and power tools.
- The ability to read technical drawings.
- A practical, hands-on approach to engineering.
- A willingness to learn and develop.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
- Flexibility to stay away from home during the week when required.
- NVQ level 2 - lift installation (Desirable but not essential)
- £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
- Quarterly bonus scheme worth up to £15,000 per year.
