INTRODUCTION TO LINAKER

For 30 years Linaker has specialised in the creation and maintenance of tailor-made business environments. Having shaped workspaces for a wide range of businesses across the country, Linaker’s heritage lies in our ability to design and regulate unique spaces that truly work.

Linaker was founded upon three core values: trust, reliability and care. We are not just a service provider, rather an essential part of our clients’ architecture and, ultimately, an extension of your business, a part of one team.

The last couple of years has seen Linaker grow exponentially and 2026 is no exception. Our client base continues to grow month on month and as a result we are now looking for a Junior Marketing Executive to join our team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a business anchored in its purpose of having a positive impact on our team, our clients and our world. At the heart of our operation is an approach where people and tech work harmoniously together, allowing us to continue our growth whilst staying true to our independent, family-business roots.

We’re looking for a creative, organised and enthusiastic Junior Marketing Executive to join our team and share our story with our audience. This is a hands-on role, with a particular focus on managing our social media channels - from planning through to publishing and community engagement. You’ll help bring our brand to life by ensuring we have a consistent, engaging and relevant presence across our key channels.

You’ll be involved in everything from mapping out the content calendar and coordinating content, to writing and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement and responding to our online community. You will also be responsible for shaping and sharing select press releases with industry media.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who is keen to develop their skills, take ownership of social media channels and gain broader experience across the marketing function.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Manage the day-to-day running of our social media channels, the priority being LinkedIn

• Develop and maintain an engaging social media content calendar, mapping out content across the year

• Build and maintain an engaged online community

• Identify opportunities to increase engagement and grow our social presence

• Stay up to date with social media trends, formats, platform developments and best practice

• Monitor competitor and industry activity and bring relevant ideas and inspiration to the team

Content & marketing support

• Support development of select press materials, including press releases and image galleries

• Distribute and sell in press releases to industry media and manage coverage reporting

• Support the wider marketing team with content creation and marketing campaigns

• Help coordinate and promote company news, events, initiatives and campaigns across social channels

• Assist with gathering content from across the business and turning it into engaging marketing activity

• Support the creation of simple visual and video content using tools such as Canva

• Assist with website content updates, email marketing and other digital marketing activities as required

• Help ensure all marketing communications are consistent with our brand guidelines and tone of voice

Reporting & optimization

• Monitor social media performance and engagement

• Produce regular reports on key social media metrics

• Use insights and performance data to identify what content is working and make recommendations for improvement

• Test different content formats, messages and approaches to continually improve engagement

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Some previous experience in marketing, communications, social media or content creation, either in a role, internship or relevant placement

• Good knowledge of major social media platforms

• Good attention to detail

• An understanding of what makes social content engaging and effective

Desirable

• Experience using social media scheduling and management platforms

• Experience with Canva or similar content creation tools

• Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting

• Experience creating or editing short-form video content

• Experience working within a B2B environment

• Portfolio showcasing examples of previous work
