Junior Mechaincal Estimator
Salary: Circa £35,000 + Benefits
Location: Buckinghamshire
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Looking to build a career in estimating and sales? We're seeking a motivated Junior Sales Estimator to join our clients team. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and an interest in technical or construction-related projects.
The Role
- Prepare customer quotations and cost estimates.
- Review project specifications and technical information.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Obtain pricing for materials and services.
- Support tender submissions and sales activities.
- Maintain accurate records and project documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Strong numerical and organisational skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
- Confident using Microsoft Office.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Desirable Experience
Experience within any of the following sectors would be advantageous, but is not essential:
- Mechanical Services
- Pipework or Buried Utilities
- Building Services
- HVAC
- Groundworks
- Civil Engineering
Qualifications
- Good GCSEs and/or A Levels (or equivalent).
- Relevant technical or engineering qualifications would be beneficial.
