We’re looking for a Junior Network Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing team based near Prestwick Airport.

This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in fibre, structured cabling or telecoms infrastructure who wants to broaden their skills and develop into a wider network infrastructure role. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and receive support and mentoring.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Tracing and documenting the existing fibre network across a large site
  • Identifying cable routes and connections
  • Supporting fibre and copper cabling work
  • Testing, fault finding and troubleshooting
  • Working with comms cabinets, racks and patch panels
  • Supporting wider network infrastructure projects and upgrades

What we’re looking for:

  • Some hands-on fibre, copper or structured cabling experience
  • Experience in a commercial, industrial or large-site environment
  • A practical approach and willingness to learn

You don’t need experience in everything above. This is a junior role with genuine development opportunities, ideal for someone looking to build broader infrastructure skills with support from experienced engineers.
