Junior Procurement Executive

Role Purpose
To support the procurement team in sourcing products, managing supplier relationships and ensuring materials are available to meet customer demand. You will work collaboratively across the business to identify opportunities, deliver value and contribute to an efficient and commercially focused supply chain.
This role is ideal for someone who is curious, organised and eager to develop a career in procurement within a fast-paced commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the procurement team in sourcing products and services.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
- Assist with supplier negotiations and commercial discussions.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery and quality.
- Support category management activities and supplier reviews.
- Analyse purchasing data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Raise purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Work closely with sales, operations and logistics to ensure product availability.

Experience & Skills
Essential
- Experience in a procurement, purchasing, supply chain or commercial support role, or a strong desire to develop within procurement.
- Good analytical and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Competent using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Exposure to Category Management principles.
- Experience working with suppliers or manufacturers.
- Experience sourcing products internationally, particularly within India and/or China.
- Knowledge of ERP or procurement systems.
