Junior Project Coordinator

Location: Altrincham
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

We're recruiting on behalf of an innovative and fast-growing technology business that delivers market-leading digital solutions to some of the UK's biggest household names.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative Project Team where you'll gain exposure to large-scale technology deployment projects, receive full training, and develop your career within project management.

The Role

Working closely with the Project Team, you'll provide essential administrative and coordination support to ensure multiple deployment projects run smoothly from planning through to completion.

No two days are the same, and you'll play a key role in keeping projects on track, maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring stakeholders are kept up to date throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to Project Managers across multiple deployment projects.
  • Maintain project plans, trackers and documentation.
  • Prepare project reports and update stakeholders on progress.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate project activities.
  • Review project documentation and ensure records are accurate and complete.
  • Monitor project milestones and deadlines.
  • Escalate any risks or issues where appropriate.
  • Support continuous improvement within project processes.
  • Assist with general administration to ensure successful project delivery.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

You'll ideally have:

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A confident and professional approach when working with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • A willingness to learn and develop within a project environment.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Desirable Experience

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous but is not essential:

  • Project Administration or Project Coordination.
  • Working with project plans or deployment schedules.
  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP.
  • Technology, IT, retail or hospitality environments.
  • Working with field engineers, suppliers or third-party contractors.
  • Knowledge of project management principles.
