We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Revit MEP Technician to join our Building Information Modelling (BIM) team. The Role
As a Revit MEP Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of coordinated building services designs across a wide range of projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing high-quality MEP models and drawings using Autodesk Revit.
- Supporting engineers with the detailed design and coordination of MEP systems.
- Developing accurate and technically robust BIM models.
- Producing detailed MEP drawings from RIBA Stage 2 through to Stage 4.
- Working collaboratively with internal engineers and external design teams to produce fully coordinated, clash-free models.
- Applying BIM processes and ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 standards.
- Working in line with company BIM standards, project-specific BEPs and internal processes.
- Running clash detection using Navisworks or Solibri and assisting with model coordination.
- Providing technical support and contributing to continuous improvement within the BIM team.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience using Autodesk Revit MEP with the ability to work confidently and independently.
- Experience working to project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
- A solid understanding of BIM workflows and collaborative design processes.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 and industry BIM standards.
- Experience using Navisworks or Solibri for clash detection and model coordination.
- Experience working in accordance with BSRIA BG6 guidance.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to challenge designs constructively and contribute during coordination meetings.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload to meet project deadlines.
- A collaborative approach with a keen eye for detail and quality.
