We are currently looking for a Junior Site Manager to join our team on a temporary contract, supporting the successful delivery of a busy construction project.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their site management experience, take on additional responsibility and progress their career within the construction industry.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Site Manager and wider project team to ensure the site is operated safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the construction site

Assisting with the coordination and supervision of site activities and subcontractors

Monitoring progress and ensuring works are completed in accordance with programme requirements

Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping across the site

Assisting with site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings
-
Monitoring quality of works and reporting any issues
-
Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project team

Assisting with site paperwork, records and reports
-
Identifying and reporting any potential issues that may affect programme, quality or safety

Ensuring company and project procedures are followed at all times

Ability to use digital platforms for document management, drawings, reporting and project communication

Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a construction environment

A flexible approach to working across different projects and locations
Qualifications & Experience
-
Previous experience within the construction industry is essential

Previous experience in a supervisory, site-based or junior management position would be advantageous
-
Relevant CSCS qualification
-
SSSTS/SMSTS desirable
-
First Aid qualification desirable
-
Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar construction management software is advantageous
-
A relevant construction qualification would be beneficial
Contract & Future Opportunities
This position is offered on a temporary contract basis, in line with the requirements of the current project.
There may be further opportunities available for the right candidate once the initial contract comes to an end.
Candidates who are willing and able to relocate to other sites will be considered for future projects, subject to work availability and suitable positions becoming available.
