As a Junior SOC (Security Operations Centre) Analyst, you'll support the monitoring and protection of business systems, helping to identify security threats and keep critical financial data secure. This role offers hands-on exposure to cyber security operations, security monitoring tools, and incident management processes.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Security Monitoring
- Monitor security alerts and system activity.
- Identify unusual behaviour and escalate potential threats.
- Assist with the investigation of security incidents.
Threat Detection
- Review logs and security reports.
- Help identify vulnerabilities and potential risks.
- Support security testing and compliance activities.
Security Operations
- Maintain incident records and documentation.
- Support cyber awareness initiatives across the business.
- Assist in implementing security controls and best practices.
