We are currently recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team of a prestigious boutique hotel in Surrey, offering a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a truly luxury environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Chef de Partie from a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant or high-end hospitality background who is ready to take the next step into a Junior Sous Chef position.
The Role:
Working closely with the senior kitchen team, you will be involved in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, maintaining exceptional standards across food preparation, presentation and service.
You will have the opportunity to:
Support the Sous Chef and senior kitchen team during service.
Help lead and motivate the kitchen team.
Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes to luxury standards.
Maintain excellent standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
Assist with the smooth running of the kitchen during busy services.
Support junior chefs and help with their development.
Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen organisation.
Gain valuable experience within a prestigious luxury hotel environment.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie within a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant or high-end hospitality environment.
Junior Sous Chef experience would be advantageous, but strong Senior CDPs looking for their first step up are very welcome.
Passion for quality food and excellent presentation.
Strong work ethic and a genuine desire to develop.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to remain calm and organised during busy services.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and progress.
