We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Key Account Manager to join a B-corp accredited supplier of medical nutrition products to the NHS and healthcare providers.
Working with a diverse network of clinical stakeholders, including Dietitians, Dietetic Assistants, Specialist Nurses, Consultants, Pharmacy/Procurement professionals, and patients; The Key Account Manager will drive sales by championing a highly specialised nutrition portfolio across the London & South-east Territory.
This position is perfect for commercially driven individuals who prefer the 'soft sell' and have the ability to influence across a wide group of people including clinicians, patients and their families as well as working closely with their UK wide counterparts to ensure the continued growth and success of their business.
What You Will Do
- Territory Ownership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan to hit local territory targets and contribute to national sales goals.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts while actively uncovering new opportunities for sales growth.
- Portfolio Promotion: Deliver impactful, scientific messages on a specialist portfolio.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments to maximise market impact and maintain market-leader status.
- Performance Tracking: Consistently measure and anticipate sales results, using data to implement corrective actions and continuous learning.
- Events & Engagement: Organise and attend local and other regional patient engagement events
- Admin & ROI: Manage your territory budget effectively to maximise Return on Investment (ROI), maintain accurate records within the Salesforce CRM, and complete activity reports on time.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: A proven track record in healthcare or pharmaceutical/nutrition sales, with a history of applying consultative and influencing selling skills.
- Education: Educated to degree level in a scientific field, or equivalent relevant professional qualifications.
- Location & Travel: Based within easy commuting distance of major tertiary hospitals in the territory full UK driving license is essential, alongside a willingness to support national weekend events when required.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient with modern digital tools including Salesforce CRM, MS Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power BI dashboards.
