Key Account Manager – Scotland – £50,000–£55,000 + Bonus + Company Car / Allowance

We are recruiting for a Key Account Manager on behalf of an established healthcare business with a strong specialist product portfolio.

This is a field-based role covering Scotland and will suit an experienced Key Account Manager who enjoys developing NHS and private sector relationships, identifying new opportunities and delivering sustainable territory growth.

Candidates should ideally be based within the Central Belt or South of Scotland commutable to Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The Role

As Key Account Manager, you will:

  • Manage and grow business across Scotland
  • Build and develop relationships with key customers across the NHS and private sector
  • Develop strategic account plans to maximise territory performance
  • Identify new business opportunities and increase market share
  • Promote a specialist healthcare product portfolio
  • Deliver customer training and education where required
  • Maintain accurate customer records and utilise data to support business planning

The Person

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Key Account Manager within pharmaceuticals, medical devices or healthcare
  • ABPI qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience managing the Scottish territory or an equivalent territory
  • A proven track record of delivering sales growth
  • Strong experience working with NHS customers
  • Excellent planning, commercial and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, consultative approach to account management

Experience within ophthalmology would be advantageous but is not essential.

The Package

  • £50,000–£55,000 basic salary
  • 15–20% bonus after probation
  • Company car or £525 monthly car allowance
  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
