Key Account Manager – Polymers & Polyamides

The Role

This is a senior commercial position responsible for managing and developing strategic industry and commercial accounts across multiple sectors, including:

  • Industrial
  • Consumer Goods
  • Electrical & Electronics
  • Healthcare
  • Optics
  • Packaging

The Key Account Manager will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across the supply chain.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience selling or in the manufacturing of polymers or polyamides products.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a sales or commercially focused role.
  • Strong commercial negotiation experience
  • Excellent administrative, reporting and organisational skills
  • Exceptional networking and relationship-building capability
  • Ability to manage complex commercial accounts across multiple sectors

Desirable Requirements

  • Higher education qualification relevant to polymers or polyamides (e.g. Chemistry degree or related technical discipline)

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Key Account Manager with a strong commercial track record in the polymers or polyamides sector, either in the supply of raw material, or the use of them in injection moulding or extrusion applications.

They will combine technical understanding with disciplined account management, excellent relationship-building skills, and a structured approach to reporting and performance management.

This role requires a commercially astute, proactive professional capable of operating at senior levels within client organisations while maintaining operational attention to detail.
