Monarch Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Rubery, Birmingham, seeking an experienced Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term ongoing basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to take full responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class, delivering engaging lessons, driving pupil progress, and contributing positively to the wider school community.
The Role
- Full class teacher responsibilities within Upper Key Stage 2
- Planning, preparation, and assessment in line with the National Curriculum
- Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
- Monitoring and tracking pupil progress to ensure excellent outcomes
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support the school's continued success
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Upper KS2
- Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
- Excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Commitment to raising attainment and supporting all learners to reach their potential
