Are you an experienced Kitchen Assistant? Do you want a rewarding catering role with school friendly hours? We're looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join a school in Stockport. As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll be working closely with the Catering Manager and the rest of the team to serve meals, assist with food prep and ensure the kitchen is always kept clean.

The Role

• Serve meals, following menus & dietary needs
• Keep kitchen & dining areas clean and safe
• Assist with basic food prep & portioning
• Support the Catering Manager and team
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow all health and safety procedures

We're looking for

• Minimum 12 months' previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment.
• DBS certificate
• Strong awareness of food hygiene and safety standards
• Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
