What You'll Be Doing
As a Kitchen Porter, you'll play an essential role in keeping busy kitchens running smoothly by:
- Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen utensils
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, work surfaces and food preparation areas
- Sweeping and mopping floors while maintaining excellent hygiene standards
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
- Supporting chefs and kitchen teams during busy service periods
- Following all food safety, health and safety, and hygiene procedures
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who are:
- A full UK driving licence holder with access to their own vehicle (essential)
- Reliable, hardworking and dependable
- Experienced as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar kitchen environment
- Knowledgeable about food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Confident working efficiently in busy kitchens
- Able to build positive working relationships quickly
- Physically fit and happy working on your feet throughout your shift
