The Role:
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a key role in ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation while supporting the chefs and wider kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Washing and sanitizing pots, pans, utensils, dishes and kitchen equipment.
* Assisting with the cleaning of ovens, fryers, grills and other kitchen appliances.
* Supporting chefs with basic food preparation when required.
* Keeping kitchen and service areas clean, tidy and hygienic at all times.
* Receiving and storing deliveries correctly.
* Disposing of waste and recycling following company procedures.
* Replenishing kitchen supplies and cleaning materials.
* Following food safety, COSHH and health & safety procedures.
What We're Looking For:
* Reliable and hardworking attitude.
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Previous Kitchen Porter experience.
* A commitment to maintaining excellent hygiene standards.
