Role: Kitchen Porter – The Imperial Hotel
Location: Bloomsbury, London
40 hours a week (5 days out of 7 days weekly rota)

About the Role:
We’re looking for a reliable, hard‑working Kitchen Porter to keep our kitchen running smoothly. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, supporting the kitchen team and ensuring a safe, efficient working environment. This is a great opportunity to enhance your experienced in kitchen operations, we offer a range of roles, including Commis Chef, Breakfast Chef. Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Head Chef, with clear progression paths and training opportunities from day one.

The Imperial Hotel has 357 rooms, multiple dining venues, a workout studio, and destination rooftop bar, bang in the heart of Bloomsbury, London.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operate dishwashers and cleaning equipment to maintain spotless plates, cutlery and kitchen tools.
- Clean appliances, work surfaces and non‑food contact areas to high hygiene standards.
- Support stock storage, deliveries and yard maintenance.
- Follow food safety procedures and maintain excellent personal hygiene.
- Use chemicals, detergents and sanitising products safely and correctly (training provided).
- Assist kitchen staff and drivers with internal deliveries when needed.
- Attend required kitchen and food safety training.
Who You Are:
- 1 year of experience as a Kitchen Porter.
- Basic English communication (CEFR A1).
- Able to follow instructions, work safely and stay organised.
- Bonus: Level 2 Food Safety, COSHH training, hotel kitchen experience.
