KS1 Class Teacher

Location: Greenwich

Contract: Long-term, Full-time
Pay: £41,729-£64,684 per annum (Inner London MPS/UPS)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a primary school in Greenwich who are looking for a KS1 Class Teacher to join them on a long-term basis, starting ASAP.

This is a full-time teaching role working within Key Stage 1. The school are looking for someone who is confident in the classroom, can manage behaviour well and is able to deliver engaging lessons that keep younger pupils interested in their learning.

The role will involve:

• Teaching a KS1 class
• Planning and delivering lessons across the KS1 curriculum
• Differentiating work to support different abilities
• Managing behaviour and maintaining good classroom routines
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants and other teachers
• Taking part in the wider life of the school

You will need:

• QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Previous experience teaching in a UK primary school
• KS1 teaching experience
• Good classroom and behaviour management
• A good understanding of the KS1 curriculum
• A reliable and positive approach to teaching
