A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the South Ribble area is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Primary Teacher to join their supportive team.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in phonics delivery and a proven ability to adapt teaching to meet a wide range of SEN needs within a mainstream KS1 setting.

The school has been Ofsted rated 'Good', with strong leadership and a clear focus on inclusion and pupil development.

• Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
• Deliver high-quality phonics sessions (Read Write Inc / Letters and Sounds experience desirable)
• Adapt learning to support pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, speech & language and SEMH needs)
• Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that promotes progress and wellbeing
• Track pupil progress and contribute to assessments and EHCP targets where required
• Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and parents/carers
• Maintain strong behaviour management strategies across all learners

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong KS1 classroom teaching experience
• Proven phonics teaching experience
• Experience supporting children with SEN in a mainstream setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• MPS1 - MPS6

• Ofsted rated 'Good' with strong leadership and supportive SLT
• Highly inclusive ethos with a strong focus on SEN provision
• Excellent behaviour culture and positive pupil relationships
• Well-resourced KS1 classrooms and structured phonics programme
• Supportive and collaborative staff team
