KS1 Teacher

Location: Maidstone, Kent
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Start Date: October 2026 or January 2027

We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Maidstone, Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to providing high-quality teaching and creating a positive, engaging learning environment for young pupils.

As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the KS1 curriculum

• Creating an engaging, inclusive and positive classroom environment

• Supporting pupils to make strong academic and personal progress

• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress

• Differentiating lessons to meet individual learning needs

• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team

• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement and personal development

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1

• Has a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum

• Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development

• Has excellent classroom management skills

• Is organised, reliable and adaptable

• Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• Is committed to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment

A fully enhanced DBS check is required for this role.

Applicants must either:

• Hold a fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or

• Be willing to apply for a new enhanced DBS check.

Monday to Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm | Full-Time Only
