KS1 Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a school in Bethnal Green on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, support pupils' learning and development, and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to support pupil development.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to school policies and safeguarding procedures.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within KS1.
  • Good knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
